The other night Lucas happily licked his plate clean after dinner. What can I say, guacamole makes people do crazy things :) Then he proudly held up his plate and told us it was clean enough to go back in the cupboard. I don't think I want to eat off that plate!
This reminds me of a joke my dad told me.
ReplyDeleteA family, who prided themselves in being hopitable, had a problem neighbor. He and his family would show up night after night right in time for dinner. Finally they came up with a solution.
After everyone had finished a wonderful meal, she called the family dog over to clean her plate. He licked it clean. After he was done, she promptly placed it in the cupboard and offered him then next plate.
The other family stopped arriving at dinner time.
